Configure organization working rules

Open the rules

Go to Settings, then Workspace. The Working rules card is read-only for users who are not Organization Admins or Super Admins.

Available settings

• Organization timezone using a complete IANA identifier such as Europe/Helsinki.
• Default weekly hours and weekly-hours enforcement.
• Minimum uninterrupted rest between shifts.
• Minimum continuous weekly rest.
• Night-work tracking start and end times.
• Whether new shift breaks default to paid.
• Optional source label, URL and effective date for the profile.

Enforcement levels

• Disabled: the rule is not enforced.
• Warning: ElShift reports the condition for review.
• Hard: the rule prevents an otherwise invalid automatic assignment.
