Use Employee Hub to view your work

Check your published shifts, record attendance, review your personal timesheet and send schedule requests.

1. Sign in to your linked workplace

  1. 1.Open employee.elshift.com and sign in with the account your employer linked to your employee profile.
  2. 2.If you are linked to more than one workplace, choose the workplace you want to view in Employee Hub.
  3. 3.Use the Hub navigation to open Schedule, Availability, Attendance, Leave, Inbox, Timesheets or Profile.

Employee Hub only shows workplaces and employee records linked to your account. If your workplace is missing, ask your manager to confirm your invitation, active employee record and account link.

2. View, export and acknowledge your shifts

  • Schedule shows published shifts assigned to you; unpublished drafts and other employees' private shifts are not included.
  • Select a day to review its shift details, such as department, workplace, shift name, break and paid duration.
  • Select Download PDF, choose a start and end date, then download your personal schedule. The export contains only your published shifts in that range.
  • Acknowledge a shift from its card, or choose Acknowledge shifts beside the PDF action and select a date range to acknowledge all still-unacknowledged published shifts in that range.

Acknowledgement records that you reviewed a published shift. It is not clock-in, manager approval, or a request to change the schedule.

3. Request a shift change or swap

  • Choose Request change on a shift card and select the reason that best describes the issue. A change request does not directly edit the published schedule.
  • For Request different day, choose a preferred date and then either select an available shift template for that date or choose custom times. Custom start and end times are optional; the manager decides whether to apply the request.
  • For other request types, any suggested date or time is optional. Explain the issue so your manager can review it.
  • Choose Request swap to select an eligible colleague. The colleague may need to respond before the manager makes the final decision.

Requests remain separate from the authoritative schedule until the manager resolves them. Check Schedule again after the decision for any updated published shift.

4. Record attendance and review your timesheet

  • Open Attendance to clock in and clock out. Enter the break taken when you clock out.
  • Timesheets shows completed hours from attendance after clock-out; a clock-in alone does not finalize worked hours. Future planned shifts remain in Schedule and are not timesheet entries.
  • Choose a date range on Timesheets and select Download PDF to export your own records. The page is read-only; contact your manager if a recorded value needs correction.

If you clocked while offline, keep the Hub open or reconnect to the internet so the queued attendance event can synchronize. Check the attendance history afterward.
