Configure shift-transition rules

Create a rule

1. 1Open Settings, then Schedules & Templates.
2. 2In Shift transition rules, choose the From template and To template.
3. 3Enter the minimum days off required between them.
4. 4Save the rule.

How it is used

Auto-Assign rejects a sequence that violates an active transition rule. If coverage becomes impossible, inspect diagnostics and decide whether to change demand, employee availability or the rule.
